The Other Me
Notes
The Boffin might yield an in-play good character's ability. This satisfies the Pope. Optional: A Psychopath bluffing Golem might kill their 1st nominee & die normally when executed (unless they request roshambo). Pope script, fully experimental! And since you only need to buy the Carousel twice, rather than a second full Grimoire, this is one of the "cheaper" Pope scripts! First, the Boffin may yield in-play abilities, and it might count towards the Pope. This means that it would be legal to send around a bag with no duplicate tokens, but you must make the Boffin ability a dupe if you do. If the Boffin is subsequently removed by the Engineer or the Hatter, removing the duplicate ability, that's fine, the Pope doesn't need to create a new duplicate. The Psychopath has an optional rule to let it bluff as a Golem, inspired by the mooted jinx that I always thought was kind of fun. The Bootlegger rule uses the phrase "a Psychopath bluffing Golem" - it's up to the storyteller to use their judgment when deciding what that means. If the Psychopath really wants to bluff as a Golem without saying the word Golem, they can try and chat with the storyteller to let them know that that's what they're doing, or get their attention at night. However, if the Psychopath has ever killed using their ability, they probably aren't bluffing as the Golem any more. My interpretation of the Vizier / Alsaahir jinx is that the Vizier is never announced on this script, whether or not any Alsaahirs are in play. This means it's up to the Vizier to decide if they want to risk outing or no, and it means that the unannounced Vizier doesn't confirm someone if they do. The Bounty Hunter setup text says [1 Townsfolk is evil]. Based on this wording, a second Bounty Hunter shouldn't add a second evil Townsfolk: its setup text is already satisfied because 1 Townsfolk is already evil. Three of the four Minions are really difficult executions, and two are likely to play outed-evil at some point during the game. It might be tempting for the Engineer to try and turn one of them into a Boffin to get rid of them - if you think this is what's happening, don't be afraid to give the demon a pretty brutal Boffin ability before the Boffin goes. whoops, forgot the Sentinel! Pope mostly overrules outsider mod, but Sentinel's needed for negative modification.
