The Lord Mayor's Shit-Show
Notes
Itâs an election year and the town square is abuzz with false claims and misguided accusations. This strategically imbalanced script celebrates democracy and its subversion, with uninformed voters making life-and-death decisions by secret ballotâcunningly orchestrated by the elusive Al-Hadikhia. Lacking the wherewithal to expose the evil hiding in their own backyards, the town must survive by establishing small caucuses of trustâwith each new confirmation coming at a cost. However, provided they don't stay at the Inn, these ad hoc coalitions can be confident that their members are neither drunk nor poisoned. Mercifully for town, Al-Hadikhia and its sympathizers may be equally frustrated. Evil operatives might not only have difficulty identifying one another, but a special ability of the Mayor could have Al-Hadikhia questioning their own sanity, Moreover, in the event of an agrarian uprising, the entire evil party may find themselves at wits end. Special Rules (Bootlegger): ⢠If the Mayor is selected by the Al-Hadikhia at night, another player might choose to live or die instead. ⢠If the Banshee is dead, they cannot be turned evil by the Mezepheles. Fabled: Spirit of Ivory (so a resurrected Mezepheles cannot turn another player evil)
