The Agnostic's Conjecture
Notes
The Philosopher cannot choose to gain the Atheist's ability. The Mathematician/Drunk jinx is not in play. My first attempt at a Puzzle Atheist script, designed around the Mathematician and the Xaan. There is a lot of chaos, but a lot of information to help you solve non-Atheist games. I love the Imp vs Ojo combination, and the possibilities for trackable chaos with the Engineer, Hatter, and Pit Hag. Should make for an interesting puzzle, methinks! I sat on this script for a while, but I think I am ready to present this to the world and see if it works. If it doesn't, at least I tried! Funny breadcrumbs you can leave along the way: Simulating an Organ Grinder and just executing whoever you want (ideally someone with not that many votes on them) Turning someone into an in-play role at night Killing the Farmer over and over and over and over and over and over and ov Giving perfectly plausible Math numbers to frame misinformation Arbitrary outsider count, refuse to simulate a Xaan Just give everyone sober and healthy information the whole game ("oh yes mr undertaker it is very odd that you've only seen good players") Fuck it, just tell the Fisherman it's an Atheist game (don't actually do this [maybe do it if they're droisoned]) DISCLAIMER: Please Atheist responsibly. You want to at least present your players with a plausible evil team with this script pretty much 100% of the time. Sometimes your players will do that all on their own without any nudging, but if that's your plan you need to be extremely confident it's going to work. While the above options for potential interactions are fun, it is imperative when running an Atheist game not to play with your food. The point of Atheist is to create a fun puzzle. It is not about gaslighting your players. Please make sure that when putting together a bag, you're going in with a thought-out plan. And please remember that your Atheist is the only player in on the whole no-Demon thing. Ensure that you're giving them a game where they can feel involved and able to solve for their own ability. You owe them that, at least. I would recommend including a Spirit of Ivory for player counts below 15. The only reason it is not there intrinsically is because you are not forced to create two extra evils via Philo/BH. Best to add it though lest your players get too paranoid about it.
