God Drinks at the Sando
Notes
Stormcatcher / Riot: The Stormcaught player dies when nominated during a Riot. God Drinks at the Sando is a script which utilises the Stormcaught Drunk to highlight the capabilities of the 6 showcase characters. The hardest part in constructing this script was how to mitigate the centralising effect of a Lycanthrope claim. With a Stormcaught Drunk, a Lycanthrope could pick a player that isn't their Faux Paw, but still not be able to kill them, giving evil players plausible deniability. To balance this, no Townsfolk detects alignment directly, localising the effects of the Faux Paw to the Lycanthrope themselves. Meanwhile, the Balloonist and the Acrobat are uniquely capable of detecting who the Drunk is through their information, as well as picking up Widow-poisons and Pukka targets. The Plague Doctor gives the evil team a wide range of options from accelerating the game to adding more misinformation. Harpy-mad players will have to find new and inventive ways to fulfill Harpy madness given the lack of direct evil detection. Riot presents an all new question to the Lycanthrope: is it worth it to kill at all, or is it better to have more good nominations when the day of the Riot comes? Additional Notes: - If the Cannibal eats the Faux Paw, rules-as-written, they are poisoned. Whether this is something your playgroup finds fun depends on them - make your own ruling! - Golem is a very different character here! Note that if a Golem nominates the Stormcaught Drunk, they do not die, and with Godfather on script, good must be careful if they really believe the player who was punched is the Demon. Also, if a Golem has nominated, and is nominated in Riot, they cannot nominate in return, and must let the Storyteller count down and nominate for them, which is funny. - Yaggababble can kill during the night to bluff death-mod characters, and during the day to bluff Harpy madness or Golem punches. Listen carefully to what evil players are bluffing and use them sparingly to back up their claims.
