Red Stained Dawn
Notes
A multi-death script with enough killing power, especially in the evil team, to make every morning a true Red Stained Dawn. Not quite designed for lower player counts, can lead to short swingy games at 7, from limited experience. Key Interaction When the Ojo misses, it can cause multiple deaths since the storyteller chooses the kills. This is core for this script, and if a Ojo chooses to miss on purpose, you should probably give them multiple kills, although not optimal ones. The existence of Lil' Monsta on the script, with it's +1 Minion, also allows the Psychopath to co-exist alongside the more quiet minions in the suite, as even in a 1 minion game, there is the possibility of a second, quiet LM minion out there. It also creates an interesting game of chicken between townsfolk and the Psychopath, where an execution on them could be wasted, but could be game ending should they be holding the LM. Lycanthrope, Solider and the revival package help slow down or even reverse the pace of deaths, and the Magician trips up the evil team a little bit, while allowing them to still use their killing abilities without fear as compared to the Poppy Grower. Interesting Boffin abilities include: - The Lycanthrope, which can allow the LM or Ojo to choose their kills and bypass the finickiness of their ability, or for the Shabbaloth to stop the storyteller from regurgitating (by choosing alive players each night and killing someone else) - The Innkeeper, which can be a source of slightly unreliable poisoning - The Philosopher, another source of targeted disruption, by role this time - The Gossip, which allots an extra kill to the demon, but uncontrolled that might give away info the good team - The Bounty Hunter, an extra evil that you might have to go work to find if the first ping isn't them - The Snitch, which can allow you to give the minions free bluffs at the cost of a minion slot (probably most likely to be used with LM) Potential Future Changes - Bounty Hunter might not be worth the trouble, and the extra evil can make it weaker than the Investigator at times, especially since it can be disrupted by the Lycanthrope's faux paw, although the low poisoning makes it much more consistent than on other scripts. - Professor, Philosopher and Cannibal can end up in crazy revival loops, which can be a problem, but requires high coordination and no evil disruption used on it. Need more testing to see if it ends up being an issue. - Lunatic could potentially be an outsider slot used for something else, as following kills can be a bit of a trick, especially for the Ojo who just has to guess the character the Lunatic Ojo picked (since you learn "who" they chose, rather than "what", although that could be an extra source of information for the Demon too)
