How to delete your Custom Clocktower account

Steps

  1. Open the app, or go to botc.vnamu.com in a browser.
  2. Tap the ⚙︎ Settings button at the top right.
  3. In the Account section, tap Delete account. (It is also in the footer at the bottom of every page.)
  4. Sign in with the account you want to delete, if you are not signed in yet.
  5. Confirm on the page that opens. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

The button above asks you to sign in first, because only the account holder can delete an account.

What is deleted

  • Your account: ID, nickname, password hash, and the Kakao identifier if you used Kakao sign-in
  • Everything you created: custom characters, scripts, quizzes, comments and posts
  • Quiz attempt records tied to your account

All of it is removed at once, permanently. We keep no copy you could restore from.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Access logs (IP address, user agent, requested page, timestamp) already written before deletion remain for up to 3 months, for security and abuse prevention, and are then removed automatically. They are not linked back to a deleted account.
  • Reports you filed about other users' content stay as operational records without your account ID.
  • Purchase records live with Google Play or the App Store, not with us. Cancel a subscription in your store account — deleting your account here does not cancel it.
