1. Who we are

Custom Clocktower is a fan-made companion tool for Blood on the Clocktower, operated by vnamu. This policy covers the website at botc.vnamu.com and the Custom Clocktower apps for Android and iOS, which display the same website inside the app.

2. What we collect and why

You can browse the almanac, build scripts and run the Grimoire without an account. Signing in is only needed to save and share what you create.

3. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

4. Advertising and analytics

Google AdMob (in the apps) and Google AdSense (on the website) may use your advertising identifier and app or site activity to show and measure ads.
In the European Economic Area and the UK, we ask for consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before personalised ads are shown. You can change that choice at any time from Ad privacy settings in the app's side menu.
On iOS, App Tracking Transparency controls whether the advertising identifier can be used for tracking. You can change it in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Declining consent does not limit any feature of the service; you simply see non-personalised or limited ads.
A Premium subscription removes all ads inside the app.

5. Third parties

We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the providers needed to run the service:

Google (AdMob, AdSense, User Messaging Platform) — advertising
Kakao — only if you choose Kakao sign-in
Google Play and the App Store — subscription purchases and their validation. We do not receive or store your payment details; subscription status is determined by the store entitlement on your device.
Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery

6. Your choices, and deleting your account

You can view and edit the content you created at any time while signed in.
You can permanently delete your account and everything you created from inside the app and the website: side menu → Delete account (/en/account/delete).
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Access logs already written may remain for the retention period above.
You can clear cookies and site data from your browser, or reset the advertising identifier in your device settings.

7. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, to remember your language choice (botc_lang) and theme, and — with your consent where required — for advertising. Blocking cookies may sign you out or reset your preferences.

8. Changes and contact

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and note the change on the service.
